Plastic is a miraculous material that human beings have invented from petroleum derivatives. There are myths around plastic being bad and causing negative impact on the environment by getting into rivers, oceans and dumping grounds.As Plastic is used in everything in our day today life like utensils, bottle, mugs, bucket, toothbrush and so on So, in reality plastic is not a problem.The problem is of irresponsible human behaviour in disposing the plastic. If disposed sensibly, it can actually do well to the environment it can be recycled and get a new life to be used in a better way.
So we at Umeed has pledge to collect the plastic be it bottles,chips/chocolate wrapper ,Oil /Powder /Shampoo bottle ,on time use plastic glass,carry bags or any plastic item from our near by surroundings, residents every month and send it for recycling for which we have join hands with Bisleri Bottle for Change Campaign and support the environment.
